Carla Whitman Design is an Orange County, California based residential design firm specializing in ground-up construction and renovations. In addition to founding and operating a successful commercial construction company since 1990, its owners Carla and Matt, both California natives, have been designing and building homes together. As lead designer, Carla has extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in construction, is flexible and adaptable, and thrives on solving complex design dilemmas. Matt’s development, construction, and business expertise effectuates a cohesive team.

“The overall design and implementation was easier and more stunning than we had anticipated. Although we wanted a new design on par with the level of home, the budget was a consideration; Carla and the team did their upmost to provide multiple options, ultimately landing on reasonably priced fitting pieces. Unexpectedly, they also handled everything soup to nuts. In addition to the interior, this also included a complete tear out and rebuild of hardscaping and landscaping, all of which their team facilitated. That was an added bonus!”
